Why does Zoebar name its producers?
Producer credit is a stated purpose of this site. The people who grow the coffee in Amaro, Koore Zone, Ethiopia will be named with their plot and altitude, with lot pages linking back to them as profiles are added. This is what will turn traceability from a marketing claim into a checkable fact.
Profiles are built from the producer’s own account of their work: the plot they farm, the altitude they farm at, how long they have worked with Zoebar, and their own words where they choose to give them. Producers are the skilled specialists behind the coffee, and the page is written that way.
The material is gathered at origin rather than assembled from a distance. A dedicated origin-documentation team member works through the washing-station team in Amaro, meeting producers through the season to record farm and plot information, production practices, photographs and each producer’s own words. Profiles are published one at a time as that material is verified, and only where the producer has given documented consent for their name, photograph and words to be published.
